Ajit Kumar Kankariya
Ajit Kumar Kankariya has been Managing Director of Sumeet Synfab India Pvt. Ltd., the company behind Sumeet Wholesale, since February 2015. He belongs to the Kankariya family, whose textile trade in Central India began with the late Shri Banwarlal Kankariya more than fifty years ago.
Under his leadership, Sumeet Wholesale has grown its retailer network across Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and more, widened its range from sarees into ladies wear, menswear, kids wear and home furnishing, and moved to the large-format wholesale hub at Mowa, Raipur.

Our founders
Generations of the Kankariya family
Late Shri Banwarlal Kankariya
Founder. His textile trade in Central India began more than five decades ago, and the Sumeet Group grew from it.
Shri Suresh Chand Kankariya
Co-founder. He opened the first Sumeet outlet at Baijnathpara, Raipur in 1984 and helped build Sumeet Synfab and Sumeet Bazaar.
Shri Ajit Kumar Kankariya
